INSTRUCTIONS FOR TRANSFER OF DATA FROM
URISCAN/PSS SELECT URINE ANALYZER
TO
HOST COMPUTER
- Attach one end of cable to back of Analyzer ("To Host Com") and the other end to "Com" port of Computer.
- Set up Analyzer:
- Go to Main Menu.
- Push 5 Communication
- Push 1 Set Communication with Host
- Status: On
- Baud Rate: 9600
- Escape
- Set up Host Computer:
- Click Start
- Click Programs
- Click Accessories
- Click Communications
- Click HyperTerminal
- Input Name: Customer’s choice. Can be DATE/DATA
- Country: U.S.A.
- Area Code: OK to disregard
- Phone No.: OK to disregard
- Connect Using: Com 1, Com 2, Com 3 (depends on configuration of computer)
- Push OK
- Bits Per Second: 9,600
- (Disregard others)
- Push OK
- If connection is established, the lower left corner will show "Connected" with a running time.
- Run Measurement on analyzer as usual. Results will be shown on the computer screen. Can print results/transfer results to different programs from the HyperTerminal screen.
